Welcome to my first newsletter. I plan to get one of these out a month (thanks to my lovely digital content manager) . This letter will cover a few months due to things getting on top of me.

My work is still up at William Ris Gallery in Jamesport and at Mugs on Main in Riverhead.

Currently I’m getting new stock made for the new Moonlight Market Expo I’m attending with Raven’s Wing Hattery, March 14 and 15.

I’m getting back in the studio more, now that I’m healed up from the surgery. I will be taking another class with smART school.

Let’s start back in October! I made it to IXcon in Pennsylvania (an Illustration convention) after being stranded with Eric (my husband) in Statin Island last year. I saw “old” art acquaintances and met many new ones. I got lots of support and pointers, saw some incredible art, and am looking forward to next year.

I was in three shows. October-November I was in Imagination 25, at the Mills Pond Gallery. Three of my paintings got in, “Baba Yaga”, “Eris”, and “Generational Trauma”. It was a really interesting show and I talked with many other artists and people at the opening (thank you Laurie for the ride and company. I was still not cleared for driving after my rotator cuff surgery).

November-December I was in Common Ground at the Long Island Museum. My mixed media painting “Imposture Syndrome”.

I was also in a show at Westbury Arts (October-November) put on by Jay Stuart (Poppycock Productions) to celebrate the finished of his book. That one was kind of a quick “hey, I like your work why don’t you put in a painting”, and out in Westbury while I still couldn’t drive, so I couldn’t make it out there, but the show went over well. “The Traveler” showed there.

Then I was at the cradle of aviation for the Moonlight Market with Raven’s Wing Hattery On December 5th. We dropped the Victorian/ steampunk gear for the night and did a 1940’s thing. It was well attended and we got an excellent spot.
