Hi, you’re back and I’m still here! Yay! No big changes this month. Stock is being made for the Moonlight Market on June 6th, at the Long Island Sports Hub. Getting some tatted items done in addition to a new bobbin lace pattern (along with untangling some unruly bobbins). I realized that because I hadn’t re-upped my business cards from the Expo, I was still out of business cards. So I made some new ones, with some new art and the new QR code on the back. Playing shipping roulette as they are supposed to be delivered on the 2nd. Class is going well. Color is going on(see my Patreon) the “Bread and Butterfly”underpainting below , and “Do You Play Croquet?” is progressing (final “sketch” below), color should be going on this week. Hoping to get some prints made of the Owl paintings that everyone loved at the expo. Can’t promise but wanted to mention incase I actually get them made. My work is still up at William Ris gallery in Jamesport, so head over and ogle expressively at them. Till Next month, Andrea |

Hi, still here…Gearing up for the Moonlight Market on October 3rd (at Sports hub). The Longwood fair was a no go for Raven’s Wing Hattery; the Saturday, there was some family stuff, and then Sunday was rained out. Unless the universe decides to nail us to the floor again We. Will. Be. At . The. Market. *huge eye roll * The Pages and Pictures event at Long Island Museum went well and the paintings will be up at the Carriage Museum for another few weeks. So you can still go and see/buy the art....
We are still here, that’s a good thing. My personal life has been a bit of a mine field lately but the important stuff is mostly stable. I really like stable. I’d be willing to indulge boring, as I think many would these days. Still working on stock for the October Moonlight Market (Oct. 3rd at Long Island Sports Hub), and also decided to join the Long Island Museum’s Pages and Pictures, their annual book and art sale (September 19th). Welcome! It’s July, it’s hot, it’s weird. So far I’ve spent most of the month getting ready for the art director coming in to my class, which happened last Wednesday. It went well, I was told things like my work has “renaissance vibes”, “muscular substance to figures and shapes”, and that my illustrations look Ike they came out of really old book,in a good way.
